Technical Meeting Promotion Committee
As arranged for the 3rd year now in collaboration with MARLOG, MEDPorts will hold one of its technical committees, Promotion Committee, during conference days on Monday 24th of February 2025, with the presence of MEDPorts Vice President, secretary staff and other representatives, including Port Training Institute (Arab Academy). This committee aims at enlarging the number of MED ports members by raising awareness about the association, potential benefits and its activities, implementing partnerships with various international organizations as well as regular discussion with the European Union, to be the voice of the MEDPorts internationally.
The MEDPorts Association is a non-profit association which presently has 31 members (Port Authorities handling more than 200 ports) and 4 associate members (Port Training Centers) from all shores of the Mediterranean representing 70% of cargo and 90% of passenger traffic handled in the Mediterranean Sea from Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Croatia, Lebanon, Slovenia, Albania, Jordan, Mauritania and Libya.
