CALL FOR POSTERS-MARLOG 15:

MARLOG Organizing Committee is pleased to invite submissions for posters in Student Poster Session (designed for undergraduates, post-graduate students) for the 2025 MARLOG Conference. Details are as follows:

STUDENT POSTER SESSION:

The Student Poster Session offers academic researchers a platform to share their latest research findings and receive early feedback through an exchange of ideas with conference participants. Topics of interest should align with the conference tracks, which can be found at MARLOG 2025 Tracks: https://marlog.aast.edu/en/topics

IMPORTANT DATES:

  • Submission Open: 1 October 2025
  • Submission Deadline: 30 November 2025
  • Notification of Acceptance: 5 December 2025
  • Author Registration Deadline and Camera-Ready Abstract Submission: 30 December 2025

POSTER SUBMISSION REQUIREMENTS:

Please submit:

  1. A two-page extended abstract
  2. Please Download the abstract template and instructions and follow the format carefully: [DOWMLOAD HERE]
  3. kindly make sure to limit the abstract to only two pages.
  4. Poster submission link Submit Posters under "Posters Abstracts at the following link

  5. Poster Dimensions: 90 cm (Wide) X 120 cm ( Height)

 

GENERAL INSTRUCTIONS:

Posters must be presented by one of the registered co-authors. Submissions should feature unpublished, original concepts and should not be mere abbreviations of previously published papers. Acceptance and presentation of a poster featuring original ideas at MARLOG 2025 will not preclude authors from publishing a comprehensive version of their work in future conferences and journals.

POSTER SESSION:

There will be one to two dedicated poster presentation sessions scheduled throughout the 3 days of the conference, during which the posters will be showcased. Authors are required to be physically present at their posters during these sessions to engage in discussions about their work. Additional details will be provided shortly.

BEST POSTER AWARDS:

The Best Poster Award will honor the most exceptional poster contribution. Evaluation criteria will include (1) the significance of the research contributions detailed in the submitted poster abstracts, and (2) the clarity, creativity, and overall design of the posters. The recipients of these awards will be acknowledged in the program and presented with a signed certificate and plaque.

POSTER PRINTING:

All posters must display the same title and authors as indicated in the poster abstract and should be legible from a distance of two meters. If you plan to laminate your poster, please ensure to leave the required margin on all sides. The conference will supply boards and mounting materials. For those authors who prefer not to travel with their posters, several printing shops in Alexandria offer the option to order and collect prints in person. Additional information will be provided shortly.

POSTER SESSION FEES:

Fees: 4000 for Post Graduate students  - 2000 for Under Graduate students

(This includes:  Certificates – Access to conference sessions – Conference Bags and name tags – lunch for three days of the conference).
