MEDPorts will hold one of its technical committees, Promotion Committee, during MARLOG-13 days on 3rd of March 2024, with the presence of some representatives as the association’s present, secretary staff and some members, including Port Training Institute. This committee aims at enlarging the number of MED ports members by raising awareness about the association, potential benefits and its activities, implementing partnerships with various international organizations as well as regular discussion with the European Union, to be the voice of the MEDPorts internationally.
The MEDPorts Association is a non-profit association which has 29 members (Port Authorities handling more than 200 ports) and 4 associate members (Port Training Institutes) from all shores of the Mediterranean representing 70% of cargo and 90% of passenger traffic handled in the Mediterranean Sea from Italy, Spain, France, Greece, Egypt, Morocco, Tunisia, Croatia, Lebanon, Slovenia, Albania and Mauritania.
