Moving around Alexandria
Conference shuttles run mornings and evenings between partner hotels (Corniche and San Stefano districts) and the Abu Qir venue — schedules are posted at hotel desks and in the conference app.
- Ride-hailing: Uber and Careem operate citywide and are the most convenient option for delegates; a Corniche–Abu Qir trip costs roughly EGP 150–250.
- Taxis: the yellow-and-black fleet is plentiful; agree the fare before departing.
- Tram: Alexandria's historic tram is an experience in itself — scenic, slow, and best saved for a free afternoon.
- From Cairo: hourly trains from Ramses station (2.5–3.5 h) and highway buses reach Alexandria's Misr station and Moharam Bek terminals.
