Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics:
Located in Bremen and since 1997, Bremerhaven, the Institute develops on behalf of public and private sector project partners/customers, practical solutions based on innovative ideas and works in interdisciplinary teams on projects from all over the world. In its seven areas of competence, ISL offers, among other things, market analyses and forecasts, organizes application-oriented innovative funded projects related to maritime logistics, and develops, as well as integrates IT systems. The Institute of Shipping Economics and Logistics was founded in Bremen in 1954 and has since become one of Europe's leading institutions for research, consultancy and know-how transfer in maritime logistics.
