The Academy's international journal publishes extended versions of the strongest MARLOG contributions. The MARLOG 16 special issue — Maritime Alliances towards Vision 2050 — will carry approximately fifteen papers selected by the Scientific Committee.

Extended papers must add at least 40% new material over the conference version and undergo a second double-blind review. There is no article processing charge for invited MARLOG papers.

Indexing: the journal is indexed in Scopus-listed databases and archived under ISSN 2974-3141 alongside the proceedings.
