The College of International Transport and Logistics at the Arab Academy for Science, Technology and Maritime Transport (AASTMT), in cooperation with MARLOG 15, will host a high-level technical meeting on Sunday, 8 February 2026, in Alexandria, on the sidelines of the conference.

The meeting will take place with the participation of a senior delegation from the Port of Marseille–Fos and in the presence of the French Consulate in Alexandria. It will bring together key stakeholders from the Alexandria port and trade ecosystem, including representatives of the maritime transport sector under the Ministry of Transport, Alexandria Port Authority, and national port operators.

The event will also be attended by leading private-sector companies in shipping, logistics, freight forwarding, and global supply chain services, alongside representatives of exporters, importers, chambers of commerce, and trade councils, as well as stakeholders from the customs and trade facilitation sector.

The meeting aims to explore opportunities for cooperation, enhance maritime and trade corridors, and exchange best practices in port operations and logistics services, with a view to advancing discussions on the establishment of a Green Maritime Corridor between the Port of Alexandria and the Port of Marseille–Fos.

 Port Training Institute, AASTMT in collaboration with the Arab Seaports Federation and MARLOG 15, will host the 2nd Global Port Associations Summit on 10th February, 2026, at Orchid Hall, Hilton Green Plaza- Alexandria.

Building on the foundation of our inaugural dialogue, this summit serves as a strategic engine to synchronize global efforts in creating Smart & Resilient Logistics Corridors. The summit aims to harmonize international standards and integrate AI-driven technologies with eco-efficient infrastructure, ensuring that future trade gateways are both technologically advanced and environmentally responsible.

This edition marks a significant milestone in maritime cooperation, uniting port associations from Asia, Africa, and the Arab region to facilitate regional integration, streamline supply chains, and promote knowledge transfer in digital automation. By fostering action-oriented collaboration and shared risk-management frameworks, the summit empowers the next generation of maritime leaders to launch joint initiatives that secure supply chain continuity and accelerate global decarbonization.
