The opening session convenes all delegates in the Grand Harbour Hall under the patronage of the Arab Academy for Science, Technology & Maritime Transport.

• 09:10 — Welcome address — Prof. Ismail Abdel Ghafar, President, AASTMT
• 09:25 — Address by the Honorary Chair — Chairman, Suez Canal Authority
• 09:40 — Addresses by guests of honour and co-organizers
• 10:00 — Keynote plenary: Vision 2050 — The Next Trade Map
• 11:00 — Ribbon-cutting of the technology exhibition; group photograph
• 11:30 — Parallel sessions begin
