a. DAY ONE, Monday 21st of March, 2022

  • § Bibliotheca Alexandrina Tour

Tour Visit includes:

  1. Bibliotheca Alexandria & it's museums (Archaeological Museum/Manuscripts Museum/Sadat Museum/Alexandria overtime Museum/Fashion Museum/ Shady Abdel-Salam Museum)
  2. Lunch at Hilton Green Plaza Hotel.
Time: 9:30 AM to 12:30 PM Departure/Return Location: Hilton Green Plaza Hotel

Tour Fees:
  • 50$ For non-Egyptians.
  • 500 EGP for Egyptians.

  • Bibliotheca Alexandria

The new Bibliotheca Alexandrina (BA), an amazing piece of modern architecture that represents the spirit of openness of the original Bibliotheca Alexandrina. The Library was opened in 2002 as a new center of learning and culture. It became now one of Egypt’s major cultural venues and a stage for numerous international performers, and contains a collection of breath-taking museums.

  • § Alexandria, Historical Tour

Tour Visit includes:

  1. Pompey's Pillar & the Serapeum
  2. Catacombs
  3. Royal Jewelry Museum
  4. Lunch with a view of the Eastern Port
Time: 9:30 AM to 16:00 PM Departure/Return Location: Hilton Green Plaza Hotel

  • Pompey's Pillars & the Serapeum

Pompey's Pillar is a Roman triumphal column in Alexandria, Egypt, and the largest of its type constructed outside the imperial capitals of Rome and Constantinople. The only known free-standing column in Roman Egypt which was not composed of drums.

  • Catacombs

The catacombs of Kom El Shoqafais a historical archaeological site located in Alexandria, Egypt, and is considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Middle Ages. The necropolis consists of a series of Alexandrian tombs, statues and archaeological objects of the Pharaonic funeral cult with Hellenistic and early Imperial Roman influences.

  • Royal Jewelry Museum

The Royal Jewelry Museum is an art and history museum in Alexandria, Egypt. It is located in the former palace of Princess Fatma Al-Zahra'. The building's halls contain an inestimable collection of jewels and jewelry, 19 -century paintings, statues, and decorative arts are also exhibited in the rooms and lobbies.

  • Minimum number to carry out the trip is 4 participants.
  • Pick up destination of all above-mentioned programs is Hilton Green Plaza Hotel.
  • The tours include a lot of walking, so participants may need to wear comffortable shoes and clothes.
  • Participants may need to bring hats, bottles of water as it may be very sunny.
  • Participants may need to bring Egyptian Pounds to buy souvenirs.
