Joint Seminar “Emerging Sustainable Projects in Ports 14 – 16 March”

Researches during the last decade have demonstrated that Sustainable Development in Ports and Logistics has become the cornerstone for enhancing Competitiveness, Productivity and Reliance for Crisis Management; however the major challenges facing Emerging Ports and Economic Hubs such as lack of investments and traditional infrastructure always stand as an obstacle to achieving Sustainability.

Suez Canal Economic Zone represents a Leading World Class Economic Hub and a new chapter in the economic development of Egypt which is a successful case study for Emerging Sustainable Economic hub with its logistic Mega projects.

Port Training Institute, AASTMT and Escola Europea- Italy in cooperation with Suez Canal Economic Zone are honored to present a joint Seminar titled “Emerging Sustainable Projects in Ports. The Seminar is held on the sidelines of the International Maritime Transport and logistics Conference “MARLOG 12”.

The seminar discusses the concepts of Future Proof Infrastructure and the Methodology of Port City Integration enriched with On-Site visits to Emerging Mega projects in East Port Said and Sokhna Ports as a case study for Sustainable Emerging Mega Projects and Business Models.
